While I always wished I could draw or paint realistically - through this app, I think I can!  (it's Prisma) I must be on the migration path for these pretties... as this one was on my lantana in the backyard during a break from the torch.  He posed so beautifully and patiently while I captured him here.  I didn't know that their thoraxes were dotted as well... huh.  Makes me thing of beads, but then again - what doesn't?!

After it was Prisma-tized, I can imagine that I could actually paint something like this... I guess it's a matter of breaking something down into large chunks of color... kind of like a paint by number.  How neat is that?

AND - of course there's more.  I've mused for years as to why the birds sit on wires or light posts - all facing the same direction... and why they choose to sit where they do... We were stopped at a light and I snapped this simple shot.. then cropped it, AND THEN Prisma-tized it.  Isn't it suitable for framing??  Lets see how this translates to glass next week!!  Remember to visit my website tonight at 8pm for the Weekly Wednesday Update..
