it’s monsoon season here in Texas… and this is proof that some good things do come of it… I have been whispering to these plants that it’s time to bloom… and I’ve been richly rewarded. Is there anything so pretty?

I’ve made beads called droplets in the past that were inspired by the clinging droplets of water much like the image above. The image below is of my red yucca… it puts forth these pops of coral when it feels like it - seems for the past few years, it hadn’t felt much like it… but this year I have two lovely stalks with these coral blossoms. Proves that the power of suggestion works!
Now - let’s see if the suggestion of “yes, rain - but please - can we spread it out over a few weeks?” I think the report was that my brother’s neighborhood in Houston got 9” of rain yesterday… sheesh. AND it’s not over… more to come. : (
